Course work, examined plainly

Six questions before an expert course enters the China market.

What does OrientSpan help with?

We are a small team that helps overseas course authors and experts consider how an existing learning product might be prepared for China. The work can include Chinese translation and professional review, domestic platform listing and payment access, local enrollment, and delivery coordination.

Are you a marketing agency?

No. We do not operate as a marketing agency, and we do not ghostwrite expert content. The course author retains attribution, certification standards, and final approval over the use of their work.

What happens to the original course?

The original course remains the author’s work. Any proposed Chinese-language treatment or local delivery setup is discussed as a specific scope rather than assumed as a transfer of control.

When does work actually begin?

Collaboration begins with a written agreement. We do not translate, list, promote, or distribute material until the relevant work has been approved in writing.

What decisions stay with the expert?

The expert decides whether to proceed, reviews proposed use of the material, and keeps the final say on content, representation, and approval of the agreed work.

How can I ask about a course?

Email a short note about the course or programme to dan@orientspan.com. We can start by clarifying whether a written discussion would be useful.
